Megan Gale
Gale has won a modeling contest in Perth aged 18. After years of modelling, Gale rose to fame after being selected in 1999 to model in a string of advertisements for the Italian telecommunications company, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) which she starred in company's advertising until 2006.She was also commissioned by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 as 'their face of Australia as they travelled to Italy'. Gale graced covers for Australian Marie Claire and Grazia. She has also appeared in Italian Maxim as well as Australian InStyle. Gale has collaborated with Italian designers, such as Gianfranco Fere Genny as well as Gai Mattiolo, and on the runways of Mariella Burani Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale is a fan of many Australian designers including Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. She was also the expert on fashion for the Logies award, which is an Australian TV award. Gale retired from modelling runways in January 2008 following 15 years. Her last catwalk in the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney just a few days later. In her final look she donned Wonder Woman's attire in her Justice League of America movie that was never released. Gale made a return to the runway in the month of March and completed Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011.
