Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo in Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were academics. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom do her job. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. She was in 1997 when she graduated with a bachelor's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to pursue her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the next decade, she moved into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an Actorsworkshop held located in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011, in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming of the third season finale episode and broke the news to viewers of the show in a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production of the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) one of their favorite TV couple. Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to an enormous online following using social media.
